I provide therapy-centered psychiatric care to insightful and driven adults (ages 18-65) who are motivated to seek self-reflection. I engage in insight-driven therapeutic work with my patients, which leads to self-awareness in order to live one's fullest life. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities (psychodynamic, ACT, supportive, med management) to best suit each patient’s individual needs. Each therapeutic relationship embodies trust, a safe and welcoming environment, compassionate listening, and even a little humor. Please reach out to see if we would be a good fit. I look forward to co-journeying with you on this path!

I enjoy treating adults from all walks of life who seek meaningful and personalized therapy. I do have expertise in the following specialty populations. If these apply to you, please be in touch.

  • Includes posttraumatic processing, posttraumatic growth from cancer survivorship for self or a loved one.

Dr Peng trained for 2 years during residency in the Department of Psychosocial Oncology at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, providing psychiatric care to patients in active cancer treatment. She recognizes that the transition to survivorship phase is nuanced, and is honored to provide thoughtful and empathetic therapy during this crucial time in patients’ lives.

  • Includes concerns such as eco-anxiety, climate change anxiety, solastalgia.

The relationship between mood and seasonality is both well researched and yet deeply personal. Dr Peng will help navigate seasonal changes in mood as a fellow New Englander, while also reflecting on more global and existential musings about the impact of climate change on the world we live in.

  • For musicians, public speakers, stage performers:

Getting up on the stage for any kind of performance brings up a whole host of emotions! Dr Peng uses pharmacological, supportive, behavioral, and psychodynamic approaches to understanding what may come up psychologically and physiologically and will work in tandem with patients on finding effective solutions.

I am out of network with insurance panels. This ensures the top quality of care in the physician-patient relationship. All visits are private pay and billed on the day of service.
